In parallel with tai 188bet restart, PV Drilling has implemented a plan to upgrade tai 188bet PVD8 rig to tai 188bet equivalent of tai 188bet new generation of jack-up rigs built since 2016 to update tai 188bet rig's latest technologies.

As soon as tai 188bet restart was completed, tai 188bet PVD8 rig was selected by tai 188bet Vietsovpetro Joint Venture for tai 188bet drilling program at Block 09-2/09, expected to be deployed from tai 188bet end of August 2025. This shows tai 188bet strong recovery of market demand and tai 188bet acumen of PV Drilling in promptly seizing opportunities.

This is tai 188bet first time in Vietnam that a project to restart and upgrade an jack-up rig has been carried out entirely domestically, by Vietnamese engineers, experts and project management teams, said PV Drilling General Director Nguyen Xuan Cuong.

PV Drilling currently owns a fleet of modern offshore drilling rigs, including 5 jack-up rigs and 1 semi-submersible rig. All of these rigs have been and are under drilling contracts with customers in tai 188bet Southeast Asian region, such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.
