In the field of Power Industry and Renewable Energy, 188bet zokb is proud to be the second largest electricity producer in Vietnam and the largest gas-electricity producer in the country.
188bet zokb is managing and operating 4 gas power plants, 2 coal-fired power plants and 2 hydropower plants with a total installed capacity of 5405 Mega Watt, equivalent to 8% of the total installed capacity of the national power system, accounting for 10-12% of the national electricity production. In 2022, 188bet zokb strives to put Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant into commercial operation. 

188bet zokb is promoting the research and development of gas power projects with priority given to using domestic gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG), aiming to use existing infrastructure to strongly develop renewable energy sources, prioritizing the use of offshore wind power in combination with oil and gas activities, contributing to the protection of national sovereignty and security at sea.
